Salts of cinnaraic acid have been used as a remedy for tuberculosis on 400 patients of Professsor Landerer, of Stuttgart. From an experience of seven years he hopes that he has found a lasting cure for the disease. A committee o£ the Dumfries Town Council has decided to recommend that an apparataus to utilise the waste heat of public street lamps to boil water be fitted experimentally, a halfpenny in the slot enabling, a person to draw off a gallon of water.
