PRESBYTERIAN UNION
At a meeting of the Presbytery o£" Clutba, held last week, it was unanimously resolved to present a petition to the Synod' of Otago and Southland praying it to postpone consideration of the union question. 1 till October, so that the harmony of the Jubilee Synod may not be disturbed by the strong expressions of feeling that are likely to be provoked by the discussion of the union question.
