■ — •<* [Per Press AssociAtiON.l DUNEDIN, March 10. « The Governor arrived at Kokonga yesterday, and was met and welcomed by the Mayor of Naseby and Borough Councillors and the Chairman of the County. A visit was paid to the gold workings and dredge of Gnffie and party on the way to Naseby, which town was en fete. His Excellency was entertained at a banquet in the evening. This morning he left for Ophir via St JBathans. The Eailway Appeal Board met to-day and dealt with a number of appeals against classification. Archibald Cargill, who has been for many years accountant in the National Insurance Office, was to-day arrested on a charge of embezzlement. It is understood that the amount is not large.
