ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
. TPer. Pbkss Association.]' \ RAWER A. Jan. 31. ; An inquest was held at Manaia'un Sunday on the body of Andrew Morton, found | in the Maugawhero stream. It had been in the water three weeks, and was much decomposed. The deceased when last seen was considerably the worse for liquor. A verdict of " Found drowned " was returned. . John Bourke, aged seventeen, went out riding on his father's farm ;it Manaia on Sunday forenoon, and waa found at seven o'clock in the evening in a swamp, dead. There are no 'further particulars.
