Eecoivetl Jan. 28, 5 p.m. MELBOURNE, Jan. 28. • The South Australian contingent were practising at the nets this morning. The New South Wales representatives arrived at midday; and the team was immediately selected, the only difference from the team which played the Englishmen in Adelaide being the selection of Worrall as twelfth man instead of Donnan. ' The weather is fine and promises to be hot to-morrow. Yesterday afternoon the Rangiora Thursday team won a match against the Amberley Club by the narrow margin of two runs. Rangiora scored 120 (Sinclair 29, Felton 24, Judson 24) ; Amberley 118 (T. Mason 36, F. Adams 35). In the bowling, Felton and Payne for the winners, and Adams and H. Mason for Amberley, did best.
