ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
[Per Press Association.] NEW PLYMOUTH, Jan. 29. The Taranaki Herald's correspondent wires that two men, Harry Hunter and David Williamson, were drowned while bathing in the Waitara River at Kaimate, near Inglewood, on Friday. Both bodies had not been recovered till late on Friday night. Two constables have gone to the spot. Later particulars of the drowning accident, near Inglewcod, show that one man was seized with cramp, his mate tried to save him, and both lost their lives.
