AUCKLAND NEWS.
[Per Press Association.! AUCKLAND, Jan. 11. George Huddleston admitted the theft of £222, the property of the Queen, but was informed that a plea of guilty could not be accepted in the Police Court. He was remanded until Jan. 19. bail, in the sum of £300, being granted. He was clerk and caretaker at the Mount Eden magazine, and was once sergeant-major at the Wellington depot.
