MOTOR CARS.
The two motor cars which Mr W. M'Lean, of Wellington, ordered when he was in Paris a few months ago are on their way to Australia by one of the Messageries Maritimes steamers, and are expected to arrive at their destination in about a fortnight. The vehicles are driven by means of benzine, and are capable of attaining a speed of thirty miles an hour. The tyres are solid rubber, find the cars are said to be almost noiseless.
