The second wool sales opened this mornng. The attendance was large and the lidding very brisk, both the competition md the prices obtained comparing very iavourably with last season, and showing m improvement on the first sale of this season. Prices ranged from od, o_d to B^d :'or half-breds and cross-breds ; longivools fetched 6d to 7*d, bellies and pieces id to Cd. One lot of six bales of half-bred, rery fine quality, realised lOjd, and mother lot of seventeen bales brought )..d.
