Oxford. — A meeting of the Oxford Sports-Counnittee was held in the Library on Monday night, when Mr Ingram, the President, occupied the choir. Correspondence was read from Messrs Moore and Meredith, stating that they had interviewed the Minister of Railways as to an excursion train from Christchv.rch, and ho had consented to rim one on the day of the sports on Dec. 29. It was unanimously agreed to thank Messrs Moore and Meredith for their trouble in the matter. It was decided that both cycling and running events should be the same as last yeai 1 . The preliminary programmes are to be printed at once and sent to the various clubs.
