iA. meeting of the Canterbury Land Board -YT9B held to-nay ; present— Messrs Sidney Weetnian (Commissioner of Crown Lands), D. M'Millan, A. C. Pringle and John M'Lachlan. A letter was received from the Assets Realisation Board relative to granting part of Eun No. 146 for an extension of the Ashley Gorge Domain, Eeserve No. 3004, and it was resolved to grant the extension on the term* stipulated. It was decided to recommend the reservation of a gravel reserve of 2 acres in lot 3, reserve 2165, as applied, for by the Wakanui Road Board subject to the conditions asked for by the ranger. Temporary grazing leases of Crown lands in the Paroora River were granted as under, subject to the usual conditions .—Samuel Hansen 25acres, annual rental .£1 10s ; Andrew Hammond 12 acres, rental J*l 45. . Proposals submitted by the Ellesniere Road Board for the expenditure of thirds were considered and approved, except as to rural section 35,852, on which it was resolved that the thirds should be expended on water-supply. In the case of lot 10, reserve 684, it was resolved that the lessee's access must not be cnt off by the proposed road drain. A ballot for sections in the liosebrook.
