KAJPABA BAB. Wej.IpINOTON, August 27. Captain Altaian, nautical adviser tp the Government, has been instructed to proceed to Kaipara and report as to whether there is any necessity, as alleged, for the shifting of the harlxrar beacons. The Marino Department has been informed that of late the channel has altered, and ithat, conMquently, the beacons are misleading to i mariners.
