As Mr James Fleming, of Whittlesea, wa3 driving to Amberley on Thursday afternoon, the horse suddenly swerved and capsized the trap. Mr Fleming, who was thrown out, had hia collar-bone broken in two places, and was taken to Mr S. Coleman' residence, where every attention was paid to him. At South Eakaia yesterday, whilst the child, eighteen months old, of Mr Edward Eichards was playing about a mangle, its right-hand fingers so severely crushed that they had to be amputated.
