ST PETER'S, AKAROA.
The annual meeting of St Peter's, Akaroa, was held on Tuesday evening, the incumbent (the Rev J. T. Smyth), presiding. The report and balance-sheet were read and adopted, and the following were elected churchwardens: — Messrs G. Saxton and A. E. M'Gregor ; vestry, Messrs W. Penlington, sen., G. Odell, J. Heath, J. B. Harrison, W. Sims, T. E. Taylor and W. Penlington, juri.
