HUTT, Mat 1. The weather is fine, but the attendance is only fair. The course is much improved. All the horses are starting in the Hutt Handicap. Eesults : — HUTT HANDICAP, of;7osovs; one mile—Voltigeur (Skeets) 1, Pompom 12, Lotion 3. All started. A good race. Won by a Dengtli and a half. Time — lmin 46sec. Dividend— *£4 Bs. HACK WELTEE HANDICAP, of sQsovs; one mile and a furlong— Stockn4e (Barry) 1, Sherwood 2, Vaseline 3. All started but Muscatel and Sir Agnes. A good race. , Won by a length. Time— 2niiu ssec. Dividend— £3 ISs. AUTUMN HANDICAP, of 200 sovs ; one mile and a quarter— St Paul Sst 121b. [Messages from the North Island are being delayed to-day byftelegraphic interruption.] FEILDING, Mat 1. The stewards of the Feilding Jockey Club have decided to hold the race meeting (postponed at Easter) on May 12 and 13, in consequence of the postponement of the Napier Park Club's meeting that was appointed for those days.
