New South Wales 4 per cents 122, 3$ per cent 107$, 3 per cent 101f; Victorian 4 per cent 113, 3| per cent 107; South Australian 4 per cent 113, 3i par cent 113; Queensland 4 per cent 113$, 3£ per cent 107; Tasmanian 34 per cent 108^ ; Western Australian 3% per cent 110 ; New Zealand 4 per cent 113£, 3£ per cent 107, 3 per cent 100. Hemp is unchanged. The meat market is dull and unchanged. Complaints are made at the Smithfield Central moat market that mutton and lamb have been shipped from Dunedin labelled "prime Canterbury." Butter is quiet, and the market is bare of colonial. Wheat, English, shows a general decline of sixpence; Continental a general decline; American declining and weak. Californian No. 1 milling 30s 6d. London quotation No. 1 hard Duluth, 33s 9d. New York quotation No. 2 Red Winter, 82 cents. Colonial oats, fine quality, 25s 6d ; common 225. Common beans, 325. Victorian Dun peas, 263. Tallow, prices easier all round — Mutton, fine 19s 6d ; medium 18s ,- beef, fine 18s 3d. medium 17s. The Bradford wool market is slack. Sugar, quiet. German beet, 8s lid ; Java, 10s 9d. Iron, 43s 6d. WANGANUI, Mat 1. Messrs Jackson and Co. held a successful sale at Miss Watt's, Lilybank, of three hundred of her stud ewes and lambs. The prices realised were-^Fresh, full-mouth Lincoln ewes 37s to 455, four and six-tooth 56s to 575, lambs 275. Mr J. B. Sutton's aged rams brought s|gs, 7^gs and l7gs ; and Mr Fred. Sutton's four-year-old rams 6}gs, 13gs and 17-£gs.
