THE WELLINGTON SENSATION.

♦ [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, April 29. The publication of rumours about a poisoning case near Wellington has given rise to a number of versions none of which have any foundation in fact. One in particular has been busily spread about identifying., it with, a family of high position, and' no doubt the scandalous perversion of facts has caused great unpleasantness to the relatives. Another statement is that the Government analyst has been instructed to mate an analysis of certain exhibits, the result of three exhumations, but this is emphatically denied by the police. No corpse has been disinterred, and no application has been made to the Colonial Secretary.
