# [Per Press Association.! MELBOURNE, April 23. The Vietoriaßacing Club's Conmritteehas decided to increase the added money in the Maribyrnong Plate and Champion Stakes to .£IOOO each, the second horse .£3OO, and the third ,£l5O. It has reduced the Sires Produce Stakes from .£SOO to .£3OO. The stakes for ether events were not altered. The Victoria Amateur Turf Club's Committee has increased the distance of the Grand National Hurdle race to four miles, and the stake to .£IOOO. AUCKLAND, April 23. St Paul was shipped to' Wellington by tho Mahinapua to fulfil his racing engagements. _________________
