Our Waddington correspondent writes : -"-Harvesting operations are in full swing here. The oat crop is very short and light, with the exception of a few early sown ones. Mr G. H. Judd's, sown for chaff, was as nice-looking as one would wish to see. Mr F. Bull's wheat is very good considering the season, as also are Messrs Ballan's, Lilley's and Humm's crops. .Threshing began last week, when Messrs Askew, and Mann threshed for Mr Goodwin. •' Mr Ballan's plant turns out next week. The turnip crop is suffering from drought. Mr G.
