GISBORNE RACING CLUB. [Per Press Association.! GISBORNE, Jan. 21. The second day's racing of the Gisborne Racing Club's Summer Meeting took place to-day. The following are results : — THE COUNTY ST A KES, of 40 soys ; seven furlongs — Nightingale and Good shot a (lead heat, Lena 3. Dividend— On Nightingale £1 3s, on Goodshot £2. THE HACK HURDLES was won by Pakipaki, paying £3 4s. THE STEWARDS* HANDICAP, of 46 sovsj seven furlongs— Strowan 1, Nightingale 2. Thase were the only starters. Nightingale jumped away with the lead, but Strowan caught her round the bend and won easily. Time—lmin 32sec. There were no investments on the totalisator. THE Sfc'COND HUBDLE HANDICAP, of 60 eovs ; one mile and three-quarters— Hukatere 1, Kauri Gum 2, Lord Baven 3. T Bose also started. Time — 3min assec. Dividend— £4 ls. THE SECOND HACK HUBDLE HANDICAP, of 15 soys; one mile and a half— Success I, The Saint 2, Dandy 3. Time— 2hun 58sec. Dividend— £2135. '. THE GRAND STAND HANDICAP, of 60 soys; one mile, and a distance— Huna Bst 101 b (Manning), 1; Kingsman '6st 71b, 2. These were the* only starters. Huna won easily by over a length. No time was token.
