A TRAGIC END.

One of the Anglican prelates in Ireland met with a very sad and tragical end, the bare fact of which was mentioned in a cable message a few weeks ago. The Right Rev Frederick Richard Wynne, D.D., Bishop of Killaloe, took his wife to Dublin for the purpose of undergoing medical treatment, Mrs Wynne having been in bad health for some time past. Under the care of Dr Ball she made satisfactory progress, and all danger seemed past. Late in the night of Nov. 2 she became suddenly ill. The bishop, who was in attendance on her, rushed off for the doctor, and then returned hurriedly in the direction of his house. In the meantime Dr Ball arrived, but his skill was unable to save Mrs Wynne, who passed away. The bishop not having returned, the doctor set out in search for him, and drove to the residence of the Rev Arthur Wynne, the son of the bishop. But nothing had been heard of him, and Dr Ball ' was returning to the house where Mrs Wynne was lying dead when he met a policeman who informed him that the dead body of the bishop had been found lying on the footpath. The bishop had been apparently in good health, but the shock of his wife's fatal illness and the excitement caused by running for the doctor caused death from heart disease.
