THE CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING. I [Per Press Association/] NELSON, Dec. 28. There was a good attendance at the Lawn Tennis Tournament. The weather was fine and hot. A splendid game was played between J. M. Marshall and H. E. Parker in the Men's Championship Singles. Marshall, who won, has to / meet J. E. Hooper to-morrow to decide the championship. In the Ladies' Singles Miss Kennedy beat Miss Mabin, and to- | morrow plays Miss Nunnely for the championship. A ball will be' given to the visitors tomorrow evening. 1
