♦ .Ter Press Association.] TIMARU, Dec. 16. The Tourists' bicycle sports were the principal attraction of the holiday. The chief events resulted as follows: — Open Half -mile— J. L. Carl 60yds, 1 ; Stocker 85yds, 2. Two-mile Eoadster— W. Hern 30yds, 1 ; W. Lane 20yds, 2. One-mile Ladies' Bracelet — F. J. Ritchie 25yds, l H. Thompson scr, 2. Five-mile Provincial Championship — Shorland 1, Jones 2, I Thompson 3. A splendid race. Threej mile Eoadster— D. Dorm 30yds, 1 ; W. Hern 50yds, 2; Copeland 180 yds; 3. Three-mile Grand Anniversary Handicap — Shorland 30yds, 1 : Dorm 40yds, 2 ; Jones 20yds, 3. Another capital race. Mve-rnile Handicap — M'Knighi 350 yds, 1; Graham .270 yds, 2 ; Whittaker 420 yds, 3. The gathering was rather spoilt by .showers of rain. The riding of the Pioneer men was excellent, and the great feature of the meeting.
