THE HOLIDAY.
• — r EANGIORA. Anniversary day was observed as a close holiday at Kangiora, and a large proportion of the inhabitants went for picnics to the bush or beach. The Kangiora, Southbrook, Ashley, Woodend and Waikuku Methodist Sunday schools combined for their annual treat, and spent a very pleasant day in Mr J. Buckley's paddock at Southbrook.
