MEETING OF CREDITORS.
» — . — FREDERICK JAMESON. The first meeting of creditors in the estate of Frederick Jameson, auctioneer and general agent, Leeston, "was held at the office of the Official Assignee this morning. Mr T. G. Russell was present on behalf of the debtor, and there were eight creditors present. Tha secured creditors were: — 'Jjrust and Agency Company of Australasia, mortgage and interest, amount of debt i£4l3 10s, estimated security .£500: E. Washbourne, Addington, second mortgage also, amount of debt .£535 ; estimated . value of security (book debts and bill of sale over plant), .£450 ; W. Holly, Leeston, farmer, .£l2O ; estimated value of security (agreement to purchase 4>j acres land at Leeston), .£l5O. The debtor, in his sworn statement, said he had been an auctioneer and general agent at Leeston for some fifteen years, and had done very well until excessive competition had set in there, which had finally brought him into the Insolvency Court. He had had several private meetings of his creditors, and inspectors had been appointed to look into his estate, and as one of hia principal creditors was pressing the inspectors had advised that he should file. His furniture had been sold under bill of sale. /• The meeting was adjourned sine die.
