Mails ciose for the following places as under, subjeot to the necessary alterations: — Saturday, Nov. 7. For Australian Colonies, via Bluff and Hobart, India, China, &c, and also United Kingdom and Continent of Europe via Suez, per express to connect with Taluno at 10.30 a.m.; late fee letters, 10.40 a.m.; mail van, 11 a.m. train. Due London, Dec. 22. For Wellington and Greymouth, per Herald, at 12.30 p.m.; late' fee letters, 12.45 p.ni. ; guard's van, 1.25 p.m. train. For Westport, per Janet Nicoll, at 4.20 p.m. ; late fee letters, 4.35 p.m. ; guard's ran, 5.30 p.m. train. For Northern Ports, per Penguin, at 7.45 p.m. ; late fee letters, 8 p.m. ; guard's van, 9.15 p.m. train. ■ _______ \ Mails for Fiji, per Upolu, close at Auckland on Nov. 7, at 1 p.m. Mails for Cromarty close at Invercargill. on Nov. 7, at 4 p.m. Mails for Raratonga and Tahiti, per Richmond, close at Auckland on Nov. 25. • Note.— On the Prince of Wales' Birthday (Nov. 9) tho Post Office will be closed in all branches. Mails xisually closed on Monday will close at 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, and the Post Office will be open on that day from 8.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. for counter delivery of letters usually delivered by letter carriers.
