ADDINGTON YARDS.

THIS DAY. [Per "Stab's" Pigeon Express.] The attendance at the stock sales at Addington to-day was good. The entries of stock were very fair. Fat Cattle. — The entry of fat cattle consisted of 161 head of useful quality The sale, however, was rather quiet Steers brought; from .£5 to .£9 2s 6d heifers .£5 to .£9, cows £A 2s 6d to .£8 Among the entries were two steers fron Mr A. Chamberlain, which brought tin top price, .£9 2s 6d, and some from Mr J Johns, which brought from £7 to £8. Bee remains practically unaltered, from 19s to 21s per 1001 b for best, and from 17s to 18 for secondary. Dairy Cattle. — Dairy cattle wer< poorly represented as regards numbers, The top price obtained was £5 12s 6d. Fat Lambs.— The supply of fat lambi was somewhat in excess of the demand and prices naturally suffered. The rang< was from 8s 3d to 14s. Store Sheep. — A good entry of stor sheep came forward, and there was a fai attendance of buyers, but sales at auctioi were difficult to effect. Two and four-tootl wethers sold at 11s 6d to 13s, two and four tooths (mixed sexes) 10s 6d to 12s, goo< hoggets 8s 6d to 10s 6d, extra up to 13s 9d four-tooth ewes in lambs 13s 6d, ewes wit! good lambs 15s 6d. Fat Sheep. — The fat sheep sale is no\ proceeding. Best quality freezing shee] are selling well. Pigs. — A medium entry of pigs was yarded, and the quality was only average Heavy baconers brought from 35s to 45s 6c lighter sorts 27s 6d to 355, porkers 17s t( 255, stores 13s to 20s, choppers 38s to 65s Baconers brought 34dperlb, and, in excep tional cases, 3jd, and porkers 3|d.
