Monday, Oct. 5. (Before Mr J. G. Fyfe, J.P., and Mr F. Dyer, J.P.) Insulting Behavioub. — Martin Hansen was charged with insulting behaviour towards a young woman. The evidence was to tho effect that on Saturday rfight the accused persisted in following the complainant and talking to her. He was fined S^Os, or in default seven days' imprisonment. The same accused was charged with damaging Constable Moore's uniform to the extent of 355. He was ordered to pay the damage, or in default fourteen days' imprisonment. Drunkenness. — John Doby, who had been locked up since Saturday, was convicted and discharged.
