HER SECRET OUT.
A story is told of a certain old lady who died not long ago, and who, during her lifetime had, under every circumstance, managed to maintain an appearance of composure and placidity, and who had been the admiration of all who knew her. When her life was almost over her family physician, who had known her for many years, stood at her bedside one day and said to her : " Mrs Brown, I wish you would tell me the secret of your happy disposition." The old lady looked up at him with an attempt at a smile and murmured : " I always had patience with fools."
