The Kaikoura arrived at 1 a.m. The ice she passed was dangerous to navigation. One berg was 370ft high and a mile and a half long. She brings 100 passengers. For Christchurch — Mrs and Miss Rowell, Messrs Fulton, Strickland, Jennings, Moss, Pidgeon and RoAvell, and six in the steerage. ForAkaroa—MrDownes. Timaru, Sept. 10. Arrived—Kathleen Hilda, barque, fourteen days from Newcastle. Port Chalmers, Sept. 10. Sailed—Mamari. Bluff, Sept. 10. Arrived—Ohaxi, fr°m Dunedin. Estrella, barque. Crusader, ship, Barton, from London. Sailed—Westport.
