FPbb Press Association.! AUCKLAND, Sept. 9. An offer has been received and accepted by Mr E. H. Browne, of Wairoa South, from the Gold Prospecting Syndicate, which proposes. to prove and float his property oy the English market. The property is situated on the Maretai line of reef. A deposit has been paid, and pro&pecting will be proceeded with immediately. Mr H. J. Greenslade has paid over to the owners of properties included in the Waitekauri Amalgamated Gold-mining.. Company 'the purchase-money, running, into several thousands of pounds. A satisfactory offer for the Waihi "Welcome property has been made by a Johannesburg syndidate, the offer including a considerable sum to be spent in the development of works. The sum of .£SOO has been cabled out by the Kuaotunu Gold-mining Company to Messrs John Chamber and Son as a second instalment on account of the purchase of the property.
