Unskilled labour : No demand, owing to bad weather; and farm work especially almost at a standstill. Several married and single men seeking cooperative work. Waimate. — Building trades : Busy. Engineering trades : Dull. Boot and clothing trades : Fairly busy. Eetail trade: Fairly good. Unskilled labour : A good many married and single men will require work as soon as repairs to roads and bridges are finished. About thirty men now employed at repairs.
