The drawing for the sixty-four sections on Ardgowan was concluded to-day. Of the successful applicants, twenty-five are women. With the exception of eleven, all the successful applicants' live in this district. There wits much disappointment expressed by outsiders, who were fairly swamped by the great number of families who applied for sections, sometimes up to the total area allowed ( by the law.
