Prohibition League.— The weekly meeting of the Christohurch Prohibition League was held last evening in the Congregational schoolroom. The Rev "F. TV. Isitt presided. Tnere was a good attendance. Ifc was decided to communicate with the police inspector with reference to an alleged breach of the licensing law by a Christchurch publican. The treasurer read a statement of the financial position of the League,/ which was considered very satisfactory. A large quantity of' detail business was transacted, and a number of new members were elected.
■ W. A. M'Guire, a well-known citizen of M'ltay. Ohio, is of the opinion that there is nothing as good for children troubled with colds or croup as Chamberlain's Cough Remedy. He has used it in his family for several years with the besb results, and always kedps a bottle of it in the house. After having la grippe he was himself troubled with a severe cough.
