In the singles Parker beat Booth, Tylee and Hughes, Hooper beat both Hughes and Tylee, Collins beat both Newman and Mansfield, Newman beat Gore, Gore beat Mansfield. In the doubles Parker and Gore beat Hughes and Newman>by three to love, and also beat Tylee and Mansfield by three to love. Mansfield and Tylee beat Hooper and Collins by two to one. Hoopervand Collins beat Hughes and Newman by two to one. The game was decided by sets, and the total by games. For singles and doubles New Zealand scored 149, and. New South Wales 96. The New Zealanders sail by the Mararoa. Hooper played brilliantly in the Singles, while Gore and Parker gave a fine display in the Doubles, the improvement on the form shown in the early matches being very noticeable. Of the aggregate of the games played the Singles resulted :— New Zealand 85, New South Wales 50.
