SKlff SALES. <■ There were large entries of green sheep* skins at the weekly sales yesterday, and the market showed an improved tone for all well-saved lots. In sympathy with the London tallow market, fat declined quite jdper lb. Butchers' best cross-breds and, longwools brought from 3s 5d to 4s 4d; inferior to medium do 2s 9d to 3s 3d, best merinoes Is 6d to 2s, inferior to medium do Is to Is sd, lambskins 2s, 2s 6d to 3s sd; dry cross-brefcls 5d to ssd per lb, and merinoes from 4s d to s£d. Bough fat from 3d to l£d for the best. All hides and calfskins were cleared at tariff rates.
