The Canadian Pacific Company has contracted to carry ten thousand tons, of sugar annually from Australia for the Vancouver refinery. POLITICAL. The Government has decided to appoint a Royal Commission to inquire into Mr V. Parkes's charges, and the latter withdrew the amendment to the Address-in-reply, which was passed by both' Houses.
