Canterbury Bowling CLvk — A general meeting of the Canterbury Bowling Club was held at the pavilion last might; Mr E. C. Ashby was voted to the chair, and thei'e was a good attendance. It was decided; to hold a "smoke concert" about the middle of June, and to leave the arrangements in the hands of the General Committee, with power to add to tneir number, for the purpose. It was resolved' to register the club under the Unclassified Societies Act. A discussion took place on the question of shifting the pavilion to the. north-east corner of the ground, and the matter was referred to the committee, with power to act. .
