WEST MELTON.
About 2000 sheep came forward for the monthly sale yesterday. The attendance was fairly numerous, and the tone of the market showed an improvement, the whole of the entry, with the exception of one or two small lots, being cleared at satisfactory prices. Cross-bred ewes and wethers 7s to Bs, do breeding ewes from 4s to 6s 6d, merino do from Is ld to 4s, merino wethers 7s 6d.
