Ballance Liberal Association.— The ordinary fortnightly meeting of the committee of the Ballance Liberal Association, Addington branch, took place on Thursday avening. There was a large attendance of membera, and Mr R. 8011, president, tv in the chair. A quantity of routine business was transacted. The appointment of the four delegates by the sub-committee to represent the branch at the conference of' I Liberal Associations was confirmed. Several new membera wre elected and others proposed for -meuaberehip. The Elective Executive Bill wbb discussed and disapproved of. It was deoided to invite Mesßrs W. W. Collins, G. W. Rußsell and J. Joyce, M.H.E.'s, to take part at other meetings, Buch meetings to be called by advertisement.
