The death of Me Olney occurred at tea minutes paßt seven o'clock this morning, everything that medical skill could suggest having been done for the relief of his sufferings. The body will be brought from Springfield to Christohurch by this evening's train. It has been arranged that the funeral shall take place on Wednesday afternoon, though the time has not yet been definitely fixed. Probably, however, a special service will be held in the Baptist Church, Oxford Terrace, at half-past two, and the coffin will subsequently be conveyed to the Linwood Cemetery.' As Mr Oldey was the superintendent of the Sunday School, special trams will be provided for the conveyance of the children and others.
