- — \« ■ [Special to Pbess Association.] LONDON, Nov. 28. At the wool sales an excellent selection was offered, and there was a brisk sale. Prices are very firm. The Bradford market iB firmer, and business is limited owing to sellers holding, consequently prices are dearer, than iv London. Six cases of pleuro-pneumoniahave been discovered among the cattle ex the Maori King, from Sydney. MELBOURNE, Nov. 29. Owing to the drought the cropß of beans and. peas are not expected to go over fifteen bushels to the acre, whioh is much below the average. Last year half a million acres were cut for hay, but this year the area will not exceed 300,000 acres, aud the average will not be more that 15 cwt per acre, which is the lowest rate for many years. SYDNEY, Nov. 29. About 15,000 tons of Calif ornian wheat are now afloat. Later advices show that previous quotations were c.if . landed Sydney, but not duty paid, but as the consignments are not to be landed until after the dnty has been removed this makes no difference to. the total landing price, which still will be 3s 4_d to 3s 53.
