THE LICENSING ACT.
At a meeting of the Waikato Licensing Committee it was unanimously resolved to aak the Government to take the administration of the Alcoholic Liquors Sale Control Ant from the Waikato County Council and appoint some other local body, as 9 the Council refused to pay the Licensing Clerk as recommended by the committee, and as travelling expenses and interpreters' fe^es had not been paid for the laßt nine months.
