Professor Bickertou, on .behalf of the members, made the presentation. Bbbvicb of Sow<».— The choir of the Church of Christ, assisted by Borne friends, gave a serviois of song, entitled "The River Singers," in the church last evening. The ctauroh was fairly well filled. The solos, duets and choruses were very creditably snog. Miss Manifold aoted as conductor, Miss Oakley as organist and Mr Hannan read the connective readings. The proceeds were in aid of the Sunday School fund. . KiNaBMSY Club. — A special general meeting, of the Kingsley Club was held last evening, to consider the question of ■obtaining new rooms. Mr R. W. Eastwood occupied the chair, and there wan a large attendance of members. On the motion of Mr J. Walker, seconded by Profeßsor Bickertod, it was deoided to rent tbe Lyeenm from the Freethought Association from Tuesday to Saturday each weeki It *aa also decided to . reorgstoioe the debating and parliamentary class on ' Thursday evenings, and drawing clasß for Friday evening*.
