Pigbon Flying Cltjb. — The annual meeting of the Chrietchurch Pigeon Flying Club was held on Tueßday evening, at the Fanciers' Club-room, Hereford Street. Mr Earnshaw occupied the chair. The annual report and balance-sheet, showing a credit balance, were adopted. Thanks were accorded to Messrs Dacre and M'Le&n for acting aa judges at the paßt shows; to Meeflra Hackworth (Wellington), Piper (Dunedin), Jack * (Oamaru), th<> various station-masters, and officers of the sbeamerß Penguin, Flora and Eotorua for acting as liberators, and to the Preßsof Christchuroh for publishing the reports of matches, &o. The election of officers resulted as follows: —President, Mr W. E. Earnshaw ; secretary and treasurer, Mr A. Gapes; committee, Messrs A. Denham, C. Haeell, G. Hart, E. Ayling, A. Smith, T. Phillips and E. Cooke.
