FIRES.
A LONDON CONFLAGRATION. [Special to Pjrksb Association.] LONDON, August 25. Daring the fire the wall of Fergusson's house fell, destroying Nelson Bros', shed adjoining. SYDNEY, August 26. The insurances on the Woollongong fire are about £3000. The National and New Zealand offices have several lines. The fire at the Seaham colliery is still burning. Two hundred and fifty men have been thrown idle. The position of the fire causes suspicicn tbat it is the work of an incendiary. Heavy westerly gales are causing destructive bush fires in the coastal district.
