THE WINTON MURDER.
The Southland News says that the earthly remain's of Minnie Dean were taken to Winton by Monday afternoon's train for burial there by deceased's hue. band. It is understood that the local authorities objected to the body being buried in the Winton Cemetery, and it will therefore be interred in the grounds surrounding "The Laroheß." It was rumoured in Invercargill that an unpleasant soene occurred at the Winton Station on the train's arrival, bat the report was unfounded. ■
