A more -spacious hall oonld hare been advan- : tageously need, for there was a crowded attendance. Nothing oonld have bean more succeesful. .The- programme for the ; evening had been admirably arranged* ! The addresses were brief and to the point, ' Bongu, instrumental selections and reci- ; tions were contributed* and the refresht ments— whioh had all been contributed by i members— were excellent. The platform < was occupied by vice-presidents and other , leading members, and the guests included , representatives of the BaUnnoe Liberal , Association and similar institutions.
