Pbesident's Cup Matches.-— Owing to the wet weather, all the President's Cup matches set down for Saturday last were postponed. Gospel Temperance Meeting. — A gospel temperance meeting was held at the North Belt Presbyterian Church yesterday evening. There was a good attendance. The Bey B. Erwin occupied the ohair. Short addresses on temperance were delivered by the Revs J. J. Doke, H. B. Dewabury and A. Mitchell. Lyceum.— At the Lyceum last night an interesting programme, consisting of. songs, recitations, <fee, was gone through.
