The manager reports that the following contributions have been received for the last week:— Mr Batcher, Lower High Street, pork oat tings j Mr Forrester, Lower High Street, meat; Messrs Langdon and Steel, meat; Mr Hopkins, meat and soup j Mr Berry, meat; Mr H. B. Lane, meat; Captain Popham, one sheep; Mr W. Harker, of Hancock and Co., one sheep and German sausage, case of kerosene, one box cf candles ; V.M.C. A., food ; a friend, bread; Mr Gardiner, clothing: Mr M'Dougall," Sunday at Home"; Mr Freeman, milk; Mr Warnee, hareaand swans; Mr Neil, one pair of boots ; Working Men's Club, focd and soup ; Mrß Abel, parcel of dot bin? ; a friend, two paresis of clothing;. Clarendon Hotel, clothing and one pair of boots; a friend, dripping* During the week we have sheltered forty-seven men. The Treasurer, Pastor Birch, begs to. acknowledge tbe following cash donations :— Mr T.Maude, JB2 2s; Dr Manning, 10s i Mr W. E. Dougall, 10s; Mrs Allen, 4a 6d ; a friend, 2s ; L.8., 1b j F.J., la; A. Knowles, Is; A.E.M., la; A.M. D., 2a 6d ; Mrs C, Is j M.E.5.,-2^.6d -a friend, Is; A. Sprat, 3s.- Contribution* of food, clothing, blankets and boots, and pecuniary help will ba. thankfully received.
